Saturday, March 30, 2-5 p.m. – Maine Coastal Island Art Gallery Opening Reception – Featuring Alexandrea Farquhar of Bar Harbor; St. George Middle School Students; and Langlais Art from the collection of Bernard Langlais works owned by Georges River Land Trust.
Wednesday, April 17, 9 a.m.-12 noon – Wool felting Eggs for grades 4-8 – Join Sandi Cirillo and have fun doing some projects using natural wool fiber. Make a wool felted egg for Easter or to welcome back our birds this spring. We’ll also create felted “fuzzy wuzzy’s” which are small bowls in which a tea lite can be placed…….great to use as a night light in a child’s bedroom. Children and their parents/grandparents are sure to enjoy this fun-filled fiber day. Suggested donation is $10.00 to cover materials.
