The offices of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge are located in Rockland and in Milbridge, Maine. The Rockland Visitor Center houses administrative offices, educational exhibits, Nature Store, Art Gallery, and an outdoor replica Seabird Island.

The Visitor Center is open to the public from 8:00-4:30, Mondays – Fridays, except holidays.  We welcome everyone to come and experience the Visitor Center in Rockland and to learn more about Maine’s wild coastal islands through exploration and education.

There are many ways to experience Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge by:

Do your part to respect and protect seabirds and coastal wildlife.   Remember that landing on a protected island during nesting season is prohibited between April 1 to July 31 each year.
