The offices of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge are located in Rockland and in Milbridge, Maine. The Rockland Visitor Center houses administrative offices, educational exhibits, Nature Store, Art Gallery, and an outdoor replica Seabird Island.

The Visitor Center is open to the public from 8:00-4:30, Mondays – Fridays, except holidays. From June through October, the center is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We welcome everyone to come and experience the Visitor Center in Rockland and to learn more about Maine’s wild coastal islands through exploration and education.

Do your part to respect and protect seabirds and coastal wildlife.   Remember that landing on a protected island during nesting season is prohibited between April 1 to July 31 each year.
